Habits is a health tracking and habit-support application positioned as a companion for people using GLP-1 medication.
Depending on the features you use, Habits may help you:
- record Medication information;
- log Hydration;
- log Food and nutrition information;
- track Exercise;
- record Mood and Sleep;
- record Weight and Body Measurements;
- keep Progress Photos;
- use reminders;
- view analytics and reports;
- use optional AI features;
- connect selected third-party services.
Habits is not a healthcare provider, clinic, pharmacy or prescriber.
To use Habits, you may need to create and maintain an account.
Current sign-in methods include:
- email and password;
- Google Sign-In;
- Apple Sign-In on supported devices.
You agree to provide information that is accurate enough to create and administer your account.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining control of your sign-in credentials;
- keeping your device and account access reasonably secure;
- notifying Habits if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised.
Do not share:
- passwords;
- verification codes;
- authentication tokens.
Email verification
Email/password accounts currently require email verification.
Account security
Habits includes Face ID / Touch ID app locking on supported devices.
Biometric app locking does not replace your responsibility to secure your device and account.
You may choose to provide Habits with content or information such as:
- health and tracking records;
- free-text notes;
- AI chat messages;
- Food photos;
- Progress Photos;
- support messages;
- other content you submit through supported features.
As between you and Habits, you retain ownership of content you own.
You give Habits a limited licence to host, store, process, reproduce and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and provide Habits, comply with your instructions, and meet applicable legal obligations, subject to the Privacy Policy.
This licence ends when the relevant content is deleted from Habits, subject to:
- verified backup / retention periods;
- legal obligations;
- processor deletion timing described in the Privacy Policy.
Content you submit
You must have the right to upload or submit the content you provide.
Do not upload content that:
- infringes another person's rights;
- is unlawful;
- contains another person's sensitive information without appropriate authority;
- is malicious or intended to interfere with the service.
AI features in Habits are optional.
Current AI functionality may include:
- AI chat;
- supported conversational logging;
- food-photo and text analysis;
- workout generation;
- nutrition analysis;
- insights;
- reports;
- planning features.
AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate output.
You should review important AI-generated information before relying on it.
Habits AI does not:
- diagnose;
- prescribe;
- choose your medication;
- tell you to increase, reduce, skip or stop a dose;
- provide emergency monitoring;
- replace a qualified healthcare professional.
AI permissions
Habits includes:
- a master AI control;
- category-level AI permissions;
- AI access history.
Use of AI is also governed by the Habits Privacy Policy.
AI-assisted logging
Certain supported AI interactions can create tracker entries from what you tell Habits.
For example, supported AI logging can write information into trackers such as:
- Hydration;
- Food;
- Mood;
- Weight;
- Exercise.
AI-assisted entries can be wrong or incomplete.
Review important records before relying on them, especially before using a report or history in a healthcare conversation.
Where the product provides correction or deletion controls, use them if an AI-created entry is incorrect.
AI-generated output may not be unique
AI-generated text, plans, analyses and other outputs may be similar to output generated for other users.
Do not assume AI output is:
- unique;
- professionally authored;
- medically validated;
- free of all third-party intellectual-property issues.
Habits may release features progressively.
Some features may be:
- limited to selected accounts;
- subject to device/platform support;
- subject to permissions;
- subject to plan eligibility;
- unavailable in some countries or regions;
- changed or removed over time.
Where a paid feature is described as included in your current subscription, Habits will not rely on this section to misrepresent or withhold the core paid service you purchased contrary to applicable consumer law.
Current rollout-controlled features
Habits may integrate or link to third-party products and services, including where enabled:
- Apple's App Store and Apple Health;
- Google Sign-In and Google Calendar;
- OpenAI;
- RevenueCat;
- YouTube or other external content sources;
- other service providers described in the Privacy Policy.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies and availability requirements.
Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to the terms of that provider where applicable.
Habits is responsible for its own obligations and cannot control the availability or independent operation of third-party services.
Habits may provide or link to general educational health content.
This may include:
- articles;
- tips;
- contextual education;
- third-party links or embedded content.
Educational content is general information and is not personalised medical advice.
A recommendation that a piece of content may be relevant does not mean Habits has diagnosed a condition.
Third-party content remains subject to its own provider's terms and may change or become unavailable.
Habits may provide local reminders for supported features.
A reminder:
- is a prompt;
- is not confirmation that you took medication;
- is not medical monitoring;
- is not guaranteed to be delivered.
Notification delivery can depend on:
- device permissions;
- operating-system behaviour;
- device settings.
Habits does not provide missed-dose medical instructions through reminders.
Habits may generate:
- charts;
- analytics;
- Weekly Reports;
- Monthly Reports where available;
- PDFs;
- a Doctor Report;
- data exports.
These outputs organise information recorded in Habits.
They are not:
- clinician-authored medical records;
- diagnoses;
- treatment recommendations;
- guarantees that a healthcare professional will use the report.
AI-generated trends or correlations do not prove causation.
You may download and choose to share a report generated for your account with a healthcare professional or another person you choose, subject to the final user-output/licence terms and any third-party rights that apply.
You are responsible for choosing who receives a report containing your personal information.
Subscription cancellation
Managing or cancelling an App Store subscription is separate from deleting your Habits account.
If you have an active Apple subscription, manage it through the relevant Apple subscription tools.
Account deletion
Habits includes in-app account deletion with re-authentication.
Deleting your Habits account does not automatically cancel an Apple auto-renewable subscription.
Review your subscription separately before deleting your account.
Account suspension is also separate from subscription cancellation
If Habits restricts or suspends your account, that action does not by itself cancel an Apple auto-renewable subscription.
Where possible, Habits will tell an affected subscriber to review/manage the Apple subscription separately.
Where Habits removes paid access in circumstances that trigger mandatory consumer rights or remedies, those rights are not excluded by these Terms.
You agree not to misuse Habits.
You must not:
- use Habits for unlawful purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to another person's account;
- interfere with service security or availability;
- introduce malware or malicious code;
- exploit bugs or automation to evade plan or usage limits;
- attempt to bypass AI safety controls, rate limits or protective measures;
- use the service to harass, abuse or harm others;
- upload content you do not have the right to use;
- use Habits in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
You may use Habits only for lawful personal purposes unless Habits separately agrees to another use.
AI misuse
You must not intentionally use Habits AI to facilitate unlawful or harmful activity.
Habits may update the application and service over time.
This can include:
- bug fixes;
- security changes;
- feature improvements;
- product redesigns;
- third-party integration changes;
- changes required by law or platform rules.
Habits does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Habits may temporarily restrict or disable a feature without advance notice where reasonably necessary for:
- safety;
- security;
- legal/regulatory compliance;
- platform/provider integrity.
Where a material paid feature is changed, removed or unavailable for a substantial period, Habits will act in accordance with applicable consumer law and the current subscription terms.
These Terms do not convert specific paid features clearly promised at the time of purchase into features Habits can withdraw arbitrarily without consequence.
Habits and its licensors own the Habits application, website, branding, software, design, product content and other intellectual property, except for:
- content you own and submit;
- third-party content;
- open-source components governed by their own licences.
No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms or applicable licence terms.
Trademarks
“Habits”, the Habits logo and related branding may be protected intellectual property.
Habits may include or link to third-party material such as:
- YouTube videos;
- health information sources;
- Apple / Google integrations;
- external websites.
Third-party content remains owned by its respective owner.
Habits does not claim ownership or endorsement by those organisations merely because it links to them.
You may choose to leave feedback or an App Store review.
Habits will not require you to post a positive review as a condition of accessing paid subscription benefits.
Any review or testimonial used in Habits marketing must be handled separately from these Terms and subject to appropriate consent and advertising rules.
If you are a consumer in New Zealand, you may have rights under laws including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
These Terms do not exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.
If a Habits service fails to meet an applicable statutory guarantee, remedies may be available under law.
Habits is provided through digital services.
Where permitted by law, agreements, notices, records and communications relating to Habits may be made electronically.
You should keep copies of important subscription, purchase and legal communications for your records.
Habits may update these Terms when:
- the service changes;
- subscription arrangements change;
- legal requirements change;
- platform requirements change;
- a clarification is needed.
If a change is material, Habits will provide any notice or renewed acceptance required by applicable law.
Where a detrimental contractual change affects an ongoing paid service, Habits will provide any cancellation, remedy or other protection required by applicable consumer law.
The updated Terms will show a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes will not be used as a hidden mechanism to remove mandatory consumer rights.
These Terms continue while you use Habits, unless ended in accordance with these Terms.
You can stop using Habits at any time.
Account deletion ends your Habits account, subject to:
- applicable subscription obligations;
- legal retention;
- terms that by their nature survive termination.
Sections that may survive include, where appropriate:
- intellectual property;
- consumer-law savings;
- dispute provisions;
- accrued payment obligations;
- legally permitted liability provisions.
