Useful information should make the next step clearer — not more confusing.
Habits Resources are designed around a few principles.
Separate tracking from treatment
We explain how Habits can help record or organise information without presenting the app as a prescriber or clinician.
Show the source
Important health information should be supported by relevant sources.
Say what is uncertain
An association is not automatically a cause, and one study is not automatically the final answer.
Keep product claims factual
If we say Habits has a feature, that feature should exist in the current product.
Make reviews visible
Where health content needs qualified review, the reviewer and their relevant credentials should be shown.

Two kinds of Resource content
Product Guides
These explain how Habits works and are the recommended Phase 1 Resources.
Examples:
- how to set a Medication reminder;
- how to export your data;
- how AI category controls work;
- how to prepare a Doctor Report.
The source of truth is the current Habits product.
Health Education
These explain a health topic in general and belong to Phase 2 unless Page 19's review process is already operational.
Health Education uses appropriate external evidence and requires review appropriate to the risk/topic.
Health education does not turn Habits into a healthcare provider.
Keep your own record
